Plug in your wired headphones first so the music stays in your ears and the mic only hears your voice. Then allow microphone access.

Mic blocked or no prompt appearing? You're probably in a preview window — open this file in Chrome or Safari instead, then tap the "Mic off" chip up top any time to turn it on.

Any octave counts
Sing in whatever octave fits your voice
Tips: If notes feel too high or low, drag Key transpose until the bubbles sit comfortably in your range. If your voice line looks late/early compared to when you actually sing, adjust Mic timing offset. Slow the Tempo down while learning, then bring it back up.

Your vocal range

A2 – A4
Exercises automatically ladder through this range. Test it for a perfect fit.

5-Note Scale Ladder

Do-re-mi-fa-sol and back down. Climbs a half-step each rep through your whole range. The classic daily warmup.

Full Major Scale

Up and down the full octave scale. Great for evenness between notes once you're warm.

Arpeggio 1-3-5-8

Skipping between chord tones — trains accuracy on jumps, not just steps.

Octave Leaps

Low note, jump the octave, land back down. Builds range and confidence at the top.

Note Match

I play a piano note — you sing it back and hold it. 10 rounds. The purest pitch trainer there is.

Keyboard

A playable keyboard. Press a note, hear it, sing it back — and watch exactly where you landed. Note Match, except you pick the note.

Sustain Hold

Hold one note dead steady for 5 seconds. Trains breath support and stops the wobble.

Warmup syllable

Sung on every ladder note. "Mee" for brightness, "Noo/Loo" for smoothness.

YouTube Karaoke

Almost every song has a karaoke / instrumental version on YouTube already. Find it, paste the link, and sing over it while the app tracks your pitch live. Wired headphones in — so the mic only hears you.
Song key Auto-set when you search, or pick it yourself. The lanes that belong to the key light up as guide rails.

Steadiness
Tip: add the word "karaoke" or "instrumental with lyrics" to get versions with no lead vocal and on-screen words. The blue line is your voice — keep it flat and on a note line.
Your library is empty. Add song files you own (MP3 / M4A / WAV) with + Add songs.

Don't have files? Songs cost about $1.29 each on Amazon Music or iTunes — buy once, own forever. Tap Get songs to browse. Downloaded songs usually land in your Downloads folder.

Songs you own play here forever — no subscription required.

Sing over your own track

Load any audio file you own (MP3 / WAV / M4A). It plays while the app listens to your voice and shows your pitch live — great for practicing along with a real song, and for checking whether you are sharp or flat on a note you are holding.

Mic check
Turn this up if music or TV in the room draws notes you did not sing. It only changes what gets tracked — recordings still capture everything.
If the level stays silent while you sing, press Try another mode — some phones only give sound on one of them.
The horizontal lines are notes (C in gold). Hold a note and try to keep your blue line flat and centered on a note line. Steadiness scores how level you hold your pitch.
